1. Notice that you are interacting with AI
An organisation using Ufront should clearly disclose, at or before the start of an interaction, that the person is communicating with an AI system unless this is already obvious from the circumstances. The customer controls its greeting and disclosure and must adapt it to the use case and applicable law.
2. Recording is a separate issue
An AI disclosure does not by itself authorise call recording, transcription or retention. The customer must separately determine whether notice, consent or another lawful basis is required and configure the service accordingly.
3. How the agent produces responses
The agent uses customer-approved instructions and may use language models to generate a response. It can search only data sources and tools enabled for that organisation, such as published properties, approved knowledge, calendars or messaging functions. Generated output is probabilistic rather than a guaranteed statement of fact.
4. Tools, actions and customer control
An agent may take configured actions such as collecting a viewing request, checking availability or sending a message. The deploying organisation chooses the tools, permissions, knowledge sources, retention settings and escalation paths and remains responsible for testing them before publication.
5. Human assistance
Where the customer configures it, a person can ask the agent to repeat, clarify, take a message or transfer or escalate to a human. Immediate human availability depends on the customer's workflow and business hours and is not guaranteed unless the customer states otherwise.
6. Limitations and appropriate use
AI may misunderstand accents, context, names, numbers or ambiguous requests and may produce inaccurate output. Customers should not configure Ufront as the sole decision-maker for employment, credit, healthcare, legal rights or other high-impact decisions and should apply human review proportionate to the risk.
7. Data and privacy
The customer is normally the controller for interaction data and should provide its own privacy information. Ufront normally acts as processor for that workflow. Retention and provider locations depend on the customer's configuration; see the Privacy Policy and GDPR Information for more detail.
8. Questions and correction
If an agent gives incorrect information, contact the organisation represented in the conversation so it can review the underlying instruction or data. General Ufront questions can be sent to hello@ufront.eu and privacy questions to dpo@ufront.eu.
